From July 31 to August 7, 2026, Palazzo Guido Ascanio Sforza in Proceno will host the seventh edition of the Ad Arte Teatro Festival: a week of theater, music, performing arts, and meetings that will transform the village into an open stage. Ad Arte Teatro Festival returns with a new edition dedicated to the dialogue between artistic languages, people, and the local area. For eight days, Palazzo Guido Ascanio Sforza hosts theater performances, concerts, performances, readings, and special projects, offering audiences a program that spans diverse genres and sensibilities. The festival was born as a meeting place where established artists and new creative experiences share the same stage, building a path that focuses on research, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and direct contact with spectators. Each day offers different events: theatrical productions, concerts ranging from jazz to world music, recitals, storytelling, and moments dedicated to the valorization of cultural heritage, transforming the historic spaces of the palace into living spaces of participation and discovery. Ad Arte Teatro Festival is an invitation to experience culture as a shared experience, uniting tradition and modernity through the universal language of live performance.

Friday, July 31st
The festival opens with theater, music, and tradition.
The opening night kicks off the festival with a journey through popular music, theater, and singer-songwriter music. The concert "La Rossa incontra l'Italia" (The Red One Meets Italy), the theatrical performance "Le Convoi de Monsieur Foucault" (The Convoy of Monsieur Foucault) , and the concert "Più che una moglie" (More than a Wife ) alternate on stage, kicking off a week dedicated to the intersection of cultures, languages, and the performing arts.
Saturday, August 1st
Theater meets painting and music
The second day offers a journey between biography and imagination with Penelope. Frida Kahlo , followed by the In Duo concert, which intertwines voice, guitar, and original compositions. A dialogue between words and music that leads the audience through intimate and contemporary suggestions.
Tuesday, August 4th
Sounds from the world and new narratives
The festival continues with an evening dedicated to the intersection of musical cultures and theatrical exploration. The concert "Sotto di Anna la Pazza" explores folk and Mediterranean sounds, while "The Empty Space" presents a theatrical reflection inspired by the great masters of contemporary music.

Folk tradition and music without borders
An evening that explores the languages of traditional and world music. From the evocative power of Dario Fo's Mistero Buffo to the international sounds of InCantAzione , the program brings different cultures into dialogue through rhythm, storytelling, and audience participation.
Friday, August 7th
Grand finale of contemporary theater and folk
The final day opens with Diary of a Madman , an intense reinterpretation of Gogol's famous text, and ends with a concert by MalaFè , a band that blends popular tradition and contemporary sounds in a musical celebration capable of greeting the audience with energy and involvement.
