ON-DEMAND EXPERIENCE
In Proceno, a small village nestled in the hills of Tuscia, you can enjoy a culinary experience like no other. Inside the kitchens of the ancient castle, cooking classes are held for those who want to learn true Italian cuisine, starting from local tradition. The courses, lasting one or two days, are available by reservation and allow you to discover recipes that tell the story of Proceno. You’ll cook in a real family kitchen, surrounded by everyday tools, seasonal ingredients, and aromas that carry the scent of distant lands.
The people, the method
Leading the experience are Cecilia, the lady of the house, Chef Lucia, and sommelier Claudio Sarti. Their approach is simple and welcoming, perfect even for beginners. You’ll cook together, listen, learn, and taste.
Lessons are also available in English and are designed to leave you with something meaningful and lasting.
Each participant prepares a full menu, from appetizer to dessert. While cooking, you'll learn how to measure, choose ingredients, and pair flavors.
There will also be moments dedicated to wine, with a focus on pairing it with the dishes you prepare.
What do you bring home?
At the end of the course, everyone receives a small recipe book with all the preparations covered. A useful tool to continue cooking and and relive the experience at home.
