From March 20 to April 19, 2026, the second edition of the exhibition dedicated to the world of animation, from puppet theater to pop-up books, returns to the halls of Palazzo GA Sforza. "Threads, Hands, and Folds of Paper" takes visitors on a journey from the 17th to the 20th century, discovering marionettes, puppets, and animated books as tools capable of bringing matter to life and describing society.
A journey that intertwines technique and poetry, craftsmanship and storytelling, where threads, levers, and paper folds become expressive languages and vehicles for cultural reflection. From stage to page, the exhibition invites us to rediscover the subtle thread that unites imagination, movement, and storytelling, in a continuous dialogue between object and life.
