One of the most scenic routes in the area. A circular itinerary that starts from the Castagnetelle picnic area and passes through some of Proceno’s most iconic spots.
In the heart of Tuscia Viterbese, on the border between Lazio, Tuscany, and Umbria, the village of Proceno preserves ancient stories and untouched natural scenery.
Perched on a tuff cliff, the village is crossed by the historic Via Francigena and surrounded by a landscape of woods, valleys, and Etruscan remains. It is a place where time slows down, memory becomes storytelling, and every step reveals something new. An immersive experience that blends nature, spirituality, history, and the identity of the territory.
